Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Uncreative Title Placed Here. Empty Uncreative Title Placed Here.

Yvette tapped her chin with two fingers looking towards several books in the Restricted Section, which she begged a teacher to allow her to linger through the aisle hoping to find something useful and she found several of them placed behind her on the desk part of the shelves. Finding a book on the dark arts, Yvette opened it on top of the stack of large, dusty books that bothered her nose a bit, but she pinched her nose and that just made her breathing heavy and irritating."Blah, blah, blah, blah," Yvette mumbled under her breath seeing that the writing was useless to her and that she just wanted to find a book with some how harmless advanced spells, possibly unknown to anybody and she could be the first to find it, but it was unlikely yet she felt it be possible.

Yvette was scavenging through the many books pages, just really flipping looking at any interesting word rushing to find a good part of the book to read and truly seem interesting. Yvette passed a few things about demonic arts and horrible torture readings and she felt sick about it, but it passed. She flipped the pages not paying attention to possibility of a paper cut and found herself getting tired of this and how gloomy this section was.

Logan was trying to catch up, because he had allowed his grades to slip ever so slightly. Nothing dreadful, mind you, just not as good as he could be doing. So he was determined to have it pick up. He was gathering some books on Herbology, shuffling them awkwardly into his hands. He passed by a shelf full of Defense Against the Dark Arts books... He paused and then loaded it into his arms.

He was apart of Potter's Army now, so he should be trying his best to support them by trying harder at defending himself and others from the dark arts. He had no blood vendetta against the Death Eaters, no tragic past, no reason to oppose them except his values. His mother had raised him right, raised him to believe in everything the Death Eater's fought against.

As he walked on, trying to find a table where he could relieve his poor arms of the load that seemed to be getting heavier and heavier, he saw a girl in the Restricted Section. It was rare to see anyone there so he paused at the ropes, glancing at her. In a soft voice he said, "Excuse me I know it's none of your business, but... do you have permission to be in there?"

Yvette brushed hair back and looked toward the stranger ask question that should be obvious of a answer, but I guess Yvette looked suspicious at the time, so she flashed her pass given by a teacher allowing her to study in are, which took a lot of blinking and a cute face to convince her professor to give her this sacred pass."Hope that shows you I'm not so evil looking as you think," Yvette teased and continued to read the books, then after skimming through the books they floated their ways up to their rightful place and Yvette traded them out for more informing information.

Flipping past the pages in dash Yvette finally got that paper cut and she lightly cursed hoping nobody would hear and went on flipping, skimming, then flipping and more skimming not able to find a good book, although they all had good things to read about and Yvette should have taken advantage of the time she had there since it was such short time and batting her eyes wouldn't work all the time on a female professor.

(try to cut down on the run on sentences. A little hard to follow)

Logan glanced and saw the pass and felt his cheeks tinge a slight pinkish color. That was what he got for meddling, he supposed. He shifted his weight, hoisting the books into his arms at a different angle so they weren't cutting into the crook of his elbow as bad. "Well... You never can be too sure," he said in a modest, joking voice, offering her a humble smile.

He saw a flash of blood and realized she had giver herself a paper cut once he heard her curse. He winced; he hated seeing others in pain. He stumbled over to a table and pushed the books onto its edge so they were perched on top if it. He walked back over to the rope divider, holding out a hand and showing her his wand. "If you want, I can heal that cut up."

(Thank you, sadly nobody teaches about grammar anymore, well not really.)

"Go nuts," Yvette responded holding her hand revealing the full cut. She didn't really feel the pain of something so tiny, only things big enough to catch anybodies attention. For a few second after accepting th boys offer Yvette's stomach churned and her body heat was rising to her head almost causing her to sweat. Her breath became out like a shiver and each cold wind felt warm, then her neck started to ache. It became almost unbearable, but she has small hopes that this kids healing would reduce her symptoms.

Yvette had been putting a little too much effort into glancing at books and she didn't feel like complaining about her body."I need a pill," she sighed under her breath. She placed her palm directly on the forehead hoping to feel a normal temperature, but it seemed all of a sudden Yvette was coming down with something. So quick? She thought almost ready to faint, but it came out a droopy eyed, tired look.

(Sadly thats what I feel now and it won't go away.)

Logan watched her and saw that she was reacting a lot worse to the cut than she should have normally been. He wondered if she had already been sick or if there was something strange about the pages of the book that had caused the cut, something that caused some sort of infection or something a lot worse than your average paper cut.

He gently took her hand and turned it over, moving his wand to point it at the cut. He was never a model student, but he knew he would do minor healing spells. He had always been gifted at anything that may have included taking care of others and he was simply glad to be of any sort of assistance. He said, "Episkey!" and watched the cut heal over. H looked up at her and let go of her hand. "Are you feeling better?" He would take her to the Hospital Wing of not.

Yvette's cut was now gone and she was grateful for the gesture, also her stomach pains reduce and the headaches subsided, but a little bit of both still lingered."I'm fine," Yvette said,"it'll pass," she added. Closing her book she puffed her cheeks and released and long breath, also covering her face which you'd see often by people stressed over little things. Looking out from her hands Yvette looked at the kid, she hadn't been here long so the kid was the only thing she knew him by and felt an obligation to ask."Who are you?" she questioned while fixing her hair to look presentable, manners was an important requirement in first impressions and like Yvette she never wanted to fail to impress.

Always look for impression, but never too fake, was something Yvette would always say when meeting new friends if they turned out to be a friend. Even when someone didn't like her she'd kindly respond in a counter insult and walk away proud of how polite her insulting was and if she'd have any plan of killing someone she'd always give a confident goodbye.
