What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord.     HAT TYPE: Witches Hat, that can talk!

    GENERAL APPEARANCE: "Everyone is judging me, I'd like to see how nice you look in a millennium." I am old and frail, I have some scars above my mouth on my left side, due to years of being sewn and being worn by grubby little first years. "And how would you like to be stuck in a room for 364 days a year, and never exposed to the sun?"

    Early Years: I was born in Godric Gryffindor's hand a thousand years ago. He sewed me to perfection, (I bet you won't find any men who sew these days) and made me who I am today. Rowena Ravenclaw, gave me brains, as part of her contribution towards me. And Helga gave me a mouth, but she forgot the tongue. And Ol' Sally taught me Legilimens, so I can read people's mind. When he tried me on, I never thought he'd like a Hufflepuff, but Bam, an explosion of thoughts about old Helly burst into me, it was amazing!

    Hogwarts Years: "How do I describe a millennium, in a paragraph?"
    After Ol' Sally left, because of the kids who weren't pure, I was vouched to stay even though Snake man asked me to follow him with his travels. I stayed in the comfort of my faithful Headmasters. All from, Nigellus then Phyllida then finally Albus, and even Snape himself. I got to be close friends with the Griffin Shaped Knocker, on the door, and don't get me started on Fawkes!

I honestly would never had thought of developing the sorting hat. ROFL. honestly, i love the creativity. If you really want to create the song for the sorting hat at the beginning of term, why don't you create something, and pm it to me before the beginning of fall term in august or so, and then, if its appropriate, we can see if the headmaster is willing to use it.

I don't think you need to actually have the hat as a character to do that, but that's just a suggestion. And, yes, I do presume your purpose of character is sarcasm. lol.
