It was still hard to believe that he was back in Hogwarts, though not as a student. Being a professor was one thing he'd never really thought of, having the Ministry in his mind all throughout his school life. But things always changed, and this time he believed it was for better rather than for worse.
Only one thing stopped that, or one person, rather.
"Right, I know it's early and you'd all rather be in bed still, but trust me this class won't be so bad to start off your day. If you don't let it." Kaiden told the students as he leaned back to sit on his desk. "I think we can start off with introductions. Better to learn your professor's name now rather than later, right? My name is Kaiden Poliakoff. You can call me Professor Kaiden, Professor Poliakoff, or even just Professor. I try not to be too picky about the titles, really." he told the class before turning toward the board.
It felt strange to say his full name like that, after not knowing what it was as long as he had. Everything he'd gone through still seemed like a dream, but being in Hogwarts(student or not) gave him a sense of security that he really liked. "We'll start the class off with something simple for the First Years and refreshing for the Second Years, the Levitating Charm." he spoke as he wrote the words Levitating Charm - Wingardium Leviosa on the board before turning back toward the class.
"You have feathers in front of you all, and I expect the Second Years to help the First Years if need be, as you have more experience than them, though only slightly."
[OOC: Students in this class are new, and inexperienced. They can and SHOULD fail, particularly first years. Keep that in mind as this thread goes on, and know that it's meant to last most of this term, so have the students interact as much as you can!]
