Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

a odd observment Empty a odd observment

Post by Ne'Os Emof Thu Jul 01, 2010 9:20 pm

i received a PM the other day asking if i had killed voldemort i said yes then the person asked if i was the head DE then and i said no. The person then said that sincei killed him i should control them.

So the point to that i know Sandras head DE but it kinda makes sense dont you think the DEs crave power and would follow the one with the most. Wouldnt the one that could kill the Dark Lord be the one to follow? idk just my opinion after thinknig that over for a few days.

Your character killed Voldamort, and by doing so, he betrayed both Voldamort and his followers, so I would imagine that Voldamort’s fallowers would want more than anything to avenge his death- or, atleast, the ones who were truly loyal to their master. I think perhaps having your character become the head DE would be rather complicated, since most of the other DEs would want you dead. But this is just my view on things- and seeing as I am not even involved in anything involving the DEs, feel free to ignore this statement.

The biggest problem here is that right after you killed Voldemort you revealed you were secretly a spy for the Order. I can't really remember how you've switched sides since then, but neither side can really trust you enough to follow you.

Honestly, if I were a death eater myself, and I had been loyal towards Voldamort, I would be extremely upset with everyone who had been involved in his murder.

Woah, wait a sec. If the Dark Lord is a position gained by power, and how much you're willing to utilize, then that would have made Ne'os the most powerful wizard alive. Now, this and the fact that Voldemort ruled solely through fear and manipulation combined would equate to Ne'os being the head DE. Whoever was completely loyal to Voldemort was jacksh!t insane, like Lestrange. The rest respected and feared his power, and were simply craving power for themselves. Taking this all into account, Ne'os truly ought to be the Head of the Death Eaters.

Of course, considering Sandra is jacsh!t insane, and was truly loyal to Voldemort, the point is moot.
