Waiting for your arrival Empty Waiting for your arrival

Post by Guest Fri Aug 06, 2010 8:36 am

The demon sat on top of a large building, scouting the city below. The only reason why he was there in the first place was on orders of his leader. The one that made him furious to think about. He would've done just as good as that one, but knew for a fact that the leader possessed capabilities that even he, had not possessed. So he settled for being a General for his majesties army.

Looking at the ground, through pure red eyes, he continued to scout for something that would allow them to instill fear. Not cause war, but still fear. If they attacked an adult, then war would be caused. Same thing went for children. They would be tainted with rage and try to find whatever had caused it. So they needed something in between, a person that had not fully mutured or under devolped. But who knew how long that would take.

He barked something in an archaic language, and suddenly the stone gargoyles below him came to life. Speaking quickly, he ordered the gargoyles to keep watch from that side of the building while he would check the other. People like the ones he was looking for may have been in the park. Hiding.

Chase could feel how heavy the air felt that day. She had just healed up recently. Though her side had yet another scar from where Vito, the poltergeist had kicked her hard, just the other day, a few blocks from where she was now. She was surprised Andrew had let her go out by herself again soon. But her wand was tucked away safely (Having been retrieved shortly after she had gotten healed) Chase glared up at the sky. Why must it be raining all summer? She felt nervous also, every bad thing that had ever happened to her, had happened on a rainy day, not much unlike this one.

Chase curled her hand around her wand and glared around her, her whole body tense. Her hood had fallen backwards, and her red hair shone like a beacon in the dim light. But she didn't care, nothing attacked from the sky, just behind and around. She looked around, and did a small spin, before she continued on her way. She needed to get to Diagon Alley, and she couldn't apparate. If she could a lot of thing in her life might not have happened. But she needed to take the test, and she hadn't been able to yet. She'd have to take it when she went to school this coming year.

Muggles walked around her and quite a few of them stopped and stared at her. It wasn't every day you saw a girl with such vivid hair in the midst of brown and blond hair. Though Chase knew quite a few other people with red hair, and also some guys who had a fascination with red hair. It made her sick just thinking of the man however, and she gripped her wand tighter, yelping slightly as her wand let off a few sparks. "Shit.." She growled and ducked into an alley, attempting to put out the small fire in her traveling cloak that the sparks had caused. Once it was out, Chase glanced around and froze. It was the alley, the very alley he had attacked her. A chunk of wall had been blasted out of the wall, and there not far from here, lay a clump of red hair, perfectly matching her own, with skin still attached to it. Chase had had her own hair regrown and healed up, but the skin and hair she had had before, still lay there, a testimony of what she had gone through.

Waiting for your arrival Empty Re: Waiting for your arrival

Hashmisin(what he called himself and was not really his true name) looked around in the park area, sniffing viotlently, trying to get a scent on someone. One person that fit their description had to be there. And he waited for his chance for the one person to screw up and show themselves. One of the gargoyles squaked loudly, trying to tell Hashmisin that it had found something. However, that was it's first mistake and very last. Hasgmisin ran over and rammed his fist into the gargoyles head, obliterating it and its life immediatly. He did not need another screw up in their plan. It had taken him hours to get to the top of the building where he was now without being spotted. The other garygoyle swuake quietly and pointed down to the area where his brother had last seen the person.

The demon grinned widely and looked over the edge. Through his red eyes, he could see that someone had managed to make the mistake of moving into a dark depressing alley. A foolish choice. Hashmisin immediately toke looked around, trying to think of a way of getting down there. And now, he had a plan. He ordered the gargoyle to sweep down towards the young woman and distract her while he made his approach. Any means were necessary, besides murder. Once again, it would cause an investigation, then war.

The gargoyle nodded taking flight with its very old wings. When it began to move freely, dust exploded everywhere, allowing the gargoyle maximum freedom at that point. Hashmisin then roared loudly, giving a signal. Suddenly, little demons began roaming the streets, scaring off the tourists and other adults that decided to visit the streets. Now Hashmisin had an opening. He jumped off the building, falling freely for a couple of seconds, until he collided with the ground, leaving a large indent on the cement and tar. The sound of it made it sound like a building had collapsed very quickly. Very slowly, Hashmisin walked towards the alleyway, the rain irritating him constantly.

Once he made it to the alleyway, his shadow hovered over the entire area, almost reminiscing their doom. With thundering footsteps, he began his approach, an evil grin forming on its hideous face. "Come out come out wherever you are!" the demon spoke, its voice very low and disoriented "I know you are here foolish girl!"

Something was coming. Chase whipped out her wand, and she looked around the alley, she wasn't expecting what came next though. What looked like a large stone gargoyle was suddenly flying straight at her. Chase ducked quickly and stared up at the sky as it reared around for another attack. But before it hit her it swerved upward and started back towards her. Suddenly something like a loud shriek, a large crash, and people screaming reached Chase's ears. She spun to the entrance of the alley, but was distracted immediately by the gargoyle.

It flew over her head, and then dropped straight down. Chase jumped and did a roll down the alley, practically sliding to the end, where her back hit the blank brick wall. She pointed her wand at the end of the alley, and saw.. a figure. Chase glared at it. It was him, it had to be! Coming back to kill her off for sure, how long had he been following her this time? And why had he waited until she was down the very alley that he had almost killed her in before. But when the voice spoke, she knew immediately that it WASN'T him.. oh no, it couldn't be. Chase stood up quickly and pointed her wand at the figure that was coming closer, footsteps so heavy it made the ground around her shake. Pebbles and rocks bounced with each thundering footstep and she tilted her head to the side.

"Who are you?" She asked loudly, and without thinking, raised her wand. "Lumos." She growled and the tip of it lighted. Chase looked up into the face of the newcomer, and had to stifle a scream. "What are you?!" She yelled out suddenly and gripped her wand tighter, the light on the end getting brighter. "Go away! Leave me alone!" She said her body trembling as she backed up again, her back hitting the wall. The face she had seen, it was to horrible to look at it. Whatever it was, she didn't want to see it. She held her wand up high, and closed her eyes, ready for a blow to hit her, or anything that might give her a chance to get around this beast and get out of the tight alley and into the brighter open street.

Hashmisin was pleased. She was afraid of him. Afraid of what may have to her. He laughed softly, yet sounded like a murderous cackle. Only 3 people have ever heard him truly laughed, and they had to be instilled into a lunatic asylum. The leaders was worse. He got closerwith ever step. He was estimating 20 steps until he had his hands on her. 15, and gripped his hands into fists. 10, now he was anxious. 5, and then he was in pain. The girl had used a stick to light up the area around him! She was a magician! The ones that had imprisoned them thousands of years ago! Now he was even more interested.

Using his beefy hand, he swipped at the source of the light, his hand burning to steam in the process. Light was pretty much their enemy, and he would have to try his best in order to keep it away from him. Barking another demonic order, the gargoyle swooped down and tried to use its talons to pin Chase against the wall. Regardless if it did or not, he would've had her at that point. She couldn't even open her eyes she was so scared.

He made his fist tighter as he stared at the girl. A magician. He thought they were supposed to be hard to find, but there she was. Right there, cowering in front of him. He would make this good. Extending his hand, he grabbed her by the front of the shirt and lifted her up into the air. He held her over his head, using only one hand to do so. "Are you afraid?" he asked in a mocking tone of voice, that still sounded murderous and disoriented "are you afraid of what you don't want to see? Do you want anyone to come help you? Because no one will. You're all alone, with me." He held her against the wall now, trying his best to not slam her into it. He probably would've killed her if he did. "Now talk. What are you?!"

He was moving back! Her wand.. he didn't like light! If she could get to the lighter area beyond the alley! But suddenly a gargoyle was flying at her, and it's talons pushed her against the wall. She yelled out and realized that her wand had fallen too. "Shit.." She growled and then yelled out, being lifted into the air. Light light, she needed light, she had managed to stumble onto something that might just save her. "LUMOS!" She cried out in desperation. Nothing happened. "Damn.." She looked down at the beast who was holding her, and she was pressed against the wall roughly. "What am I?" She said her eyes wide.

"Seriously, you're asking me that!" her eyes were wide with shock now as she stared at him. "I should be asking you that, do you normally look like that or did you like.. get drunk or something last night?" She asked, surprised at her own voice. She had never actually insulted someone before, but being asked what she was was almost offensive to her. "Accio Wand.." She said holding out her hand. Suddenly the small piece of wood was in her hand. She gasped loudly, knowing it was only because she was close enough to her wand to be able to summon it, she pointed her wand down in his face. "LUMOS!" She yelled out. "Let go of me!" She closed her eyes as a blast of light flew out of the tip of her wand and lit the entire alley way with dazzling bright light.

The beast roared in pain and doubled over. Why was the light such a strong enemy against him? It made no sense, but could not argue facts. It hurt, so he would avoid it. Moving at a fast speed, he swung his fist out and hit the tip of her wand, destroying the source of the light immediately, and a portion of his finger. He used his other hand and scooped her up again off the ground, but threw her at the brick wall near them.

"I will not ask again, you bi-ch!" he snarled, his voice turning into deep hatred "WHAT ARE YOU!" Frankly, the question was to just try and scare her, to make her thoughts churn and make her confused enough for him to do whatever he wanted. He arched his leg back, pretending like he was going to kick Chase in the side, but instead he hit the wall near her head. Dust exploded around them, and instantly knew that he would at least have he scared.

He would need to work harder now.

Chase watched horrified her wand was shattered in her grip. The light went away, and she knew she was a goner. She was suddenly flung around and thrown against the wall so hard she let out a yell of pain as her head cracked against the hard surface. She stared at him, her eyes popping slightly and then his foot was raised up. She winced in anticipation of a pain that she guessed would probably kill her, the sheer size of this beast anyway. "I am a human! What else?" She cried out, her hands flying over her face to shield her eyes from the dust that had been thrown into the air from his kick. Fear shook her body, this thing could kill her, and probably would once it got her answers.

"What are YOU? A pig?" She growled out, her hand still clenched around the remains of her shattered wand. It almost felt like her hand had been torn off, her link to magic, all of her capabilities, the whole reason she felt she deserved to live, had been torn out of her grasp, shot down and killed when he had shattered her wand. "Name's Chase Moor." She growled suddenly and threw out her fist, aiming for his eye. She would never be defenseless again. She was sick and tired of being the one that had to be saved. She couldn't stand it anymore. All of her friends came to rescue her, and it was because she couldn't even defend herself. She was hopeless and didn't deserve to live in such a dangerous world. She couldn't stand to think of herself, broken and discarded on the ground, so broken after only an hour of torture. And now, in the same clearing, some giant pig monster was shouting at her for what she was. But she would not give into him. She was tired of giving in. She would fight back, and she would stop acting like a child.

She didn't know why she couldn't put into words. The humiliation and pain it caused her to know that she couldn't even look after herself. She couldn't hold her wand straight and dodge the killing curse at the same time. Her friends were skilled duelers, ready to jump to the side the moment a spell they knew they couldn't get hit with was thrown at them. What did Chase do? Close her eyes and whimper, that's what she did! Anger burned through Chase's body like a poison. Anger and pain at the same time. Her scar was rubbing against the bricks uncomfortably and she knew if she was pushed against them much longer she would be driven into one of her fits. And she couldn't have that.

Waiting for your arrival Empty Re: Waiting for your arrival

The demon did not flinch nor move when Chase had thrown a punch at him. He just stood there, and let the small fist hit him in the eye socket. He laughed, mostly out of pity and said in threatening voice "Ooh, so the little girl wants to fight huh?" He laughed again, not even reaching its full potential, but still sounded menacing regardless. He arched his arm back and swung at Chase's stomach, not putting enough force to kill her. Basically, all Hash wanted to do was just scare one person. Someone that would tell others about it and they would all believe her. Then the good name of their order would be now remembered. They would be feared again.

Ignoring her for the time being, he stood over her, walking slowly, each step thundering slightly. "So you want to learn how you can fight huh? First off, don't pick a fight with someone that will kill you in a heartbeat. Second of all, what are you?! I don't care for names, nor titles, nor apprenticeships! I already know of the species of human, but what are you?! Tell me now!" Now it just felt silly asking the same question over and over again, but it was still effective. It would show that if they didn't get answers, they would do anything for it. With no mercy.

Chase stared at this thing in front of her. He hadn't even flinched when she had hit him in the eye... wasn't that some kind of weak point? She knew that much at least! But now she puts her knowledge to power, and suddenly it doesn't work, no it doesn't work, but he laughed at her. A laugh that made her blood curl in her veins, she put her hands over her ears, as though it hurt to hear him laugh, her blood was pounding so hard that she thought she might have a heart attack.

When he punched in the stomach, Chase was sure she was going to die. She yelled out in pain, and curled over, she was dropped to the ground, and he was pacing in front of her. "I didn't pick a fight.." She growled wiping sweat off of her forehead as she staggered to her feet. Her newly repaired ribs aching her. "You were the one who set the gargoyle on me.. I"m only defending myself.." She said angrily, still clinging to the only piece of her wand that she had left. "I don't know what you mean, what am I?" She said throwing her hands up in the air, but falling back against the wall in pain. It had hurt more then she thought it would when he had punched her, and she was sure something was broken in there.

"I won't tell you WHAT I am.. until you tell me what the hell you are.." She said wiping some drool from her mouth as she looked up at him. "And if you're so tough, why do you need all that armor crap.. can't take on a little girl without it?" She growled and tried to straighten up, but doubled over again. It hurt really bad. She uttered a few curse words and looked up at him, her eyes bulging. "You look like an over fed pig if you ask me.." She said running a hand through her hair, using the wall to hold herself up. The pain was retreating from her stomach and she could slowly stand up a bit straighter every time she breathed in until she was pretty much upright.
