What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Catalina stepped up to the platform, her porcelain face set in determination. She gazed at Nikki, with no hatred but a determination that told the Gryffindor that she better watch out.

She cleared her mind, careful to keep Nikki out of it, and then pointed her wand in the direction of the girl. Confundo! she thought loudly. A jet of light zoomed in the direction of Nikki, eager to land upon her.

Nikki flared her vampire teeth and smirked. She knew that this Ravenclaw was no match for a Gryffindor vampire. She didn't hate Ravenclaws, or anything, she just thought this might be fun. Before the jet of light was 5 inches away from Nikki she had already jumped two spaces to the right and thought that was too easy. She was fast now, after all she was a vampire. The jet of light had hit the wall and Nikki chuckled. "Nice one, for a human versing a vampire" Nikki grinned and chuckled. She whizzed her wand out of her pocket and in her mind she said Expelliarmus!

Catalina dodged out of the way just in time, her brown hair falling in ringlets around her porcelain face, all in a frenzy. Her sapphire eyes flashed with excitement and she stood again, nodding her head with approval. She had not realized the Gryffindor was a Vampire or a Non-verbal expert. This was going to be difficult.

Smiling, Catalina retorted, "Same to you, but do not underestimate me just because I am human. Because that will be your mistake." She flashed another pleasant grin.

Standing up straight, she pointed her wand at the Gryffindor again, before thinking, Duro! She hoped that this one would actually hit her opponent, but doubted it because of her speed.

Again, Nikki had missed the shot. The shot did not hit her as she had already moved out of the way. She grinned and chuckled. She thought this was fun, not easy, you know, it was to expect the unexpected. She non-verbally did another spell. Eructo Aqua! Nikki shouted in her mind and bucket of water aimed at Catalina, her opponent.

Savannah waked quietly into the Dueling Arena were Nikki and Catalina were dueling at. "Hm, this shall be interesting to see."said Savannah as she sat down and watched the match going on between them. "Come on Nikki you can do it!"said Savannah cheering on her sister.

Catalina easily side-stepped the bucket, her body lithe and nimble. She felt a slight splash hit the back of her leg, but didn't consider it as a point. She stood up straight again, racking her brain quickly to find another spell she could use against Nikki. She was glad that neither of them were being hit, because she knew that would cause a lot of anger to rise rather than just competitive fun.

With another smirk, she pointed her wand at Nikki and then thought, Stupefy! A jet of light streaked from the tip of her wand and straight towards Nikki, its speed almost undetectable.

Nikki became distracted as she saw Savannah, who was really Sophia walk in. Wow, she thought, Nikki really did have the best sister ever. She was the best thing ever and was so lucky she wasn't really dead. Nikki got hit on her shoulder by Catalina's spell. "Ouch" Nikki whined and rubbed her shoulder. "Nice one..." Nikki replied, reluctantly. Nikki thought of another spell Pretego! And quickly said it in her mind and saw the jet of light strike out of her wand and aim at Catalina.

Catalina prided herself at actually hitting the Vampire. Hopefully, whoever had just walked in would distract her more. She didn't even take her sapphire eyes off of the Gryffindor. Victory was almost tangible now.

Nodding her thanks, Catalina swiftly sidestepped the next spell, grinning beautifully. Without hesitating she pointed her wand towards Nikki and then thought, Tarantellegra! Another grin portrayed her excitement of the battle.

Nikki frowned and glared at her opponent. She ducked the upcoming spell, smirked and chuckled. "You think you hit me once and you're going to get me? Well you're wrong! I am a vampire!" Nikki said to her. She didn't want to think that having someone watch them would distract her. She wanted to prove her wrong and that no one could beat her, ever. This next spell was for Sophia/Savannah. Nikki said another spell in her mind, "Wingardium Leviosa!" and got a vase from the sidelines flying at and aiming at Catalina.
