Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Elizabeth's Plottage Empty Elizabeth's Plottage

Elizabeth's Plottage Mm9
ELIZABETH EPLEE

ACT I
friend relationships

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER gallop apace, you fiery-footed steeds,
PARTNERS IN CRIME towards phoebus' lodging: such a wagoner
OLD FAMILY FRIENDS as phaethon would whip you to the west,
PRETTY GOOD FRIENDS and bring in cloudy night immediately.
SO-SO FRIENDS spread thy close curtain, love-performing night,
AVERAGE FRIENDS that runaway's eyes may wink and romeo
WE ONLY JUST MET leap to these arms, untalk'd of and unseen.
IN THE SAME CLIQUE lovers can see to do their amorous rites
FORBIDDEN FRIENDS by their own beauties; or, if love be blind,
DRINKING FRIENDS it best agrees with night. come, civil night,
ON A FIRST NAME BASIS thou sober-suited matron, all in black,
USED TO BE FRIENDS and learn me how to lose a winning match,
FRIEND OF A FRIEND play'd for a pair of stainless maidenhoods:
CIRCLE OF TRUST hood my unmann'd blood, bating in my cheeks,
NEW FRIENDS with thy black mantle; till strange love, grown bold,
ENEMY TURNED FRIENDS think true love acted simple modesty.
STRANGERS come, night; come, romeo; come, thou day in night

ACT II
enemy relationships

DIE B**** ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name,
BY ASSOCIATION when i, thy three-hours wife, have mangled it?
MUTUAL HATE but, wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin?
___ CHEATED that villain cousin would have kill'd my husband:
FRIENDLY RIVALS back, foolish tears, back to your native spring;
ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS your tributary drops belong to woe,
REALLY FAKE FRIENDS which you, mistaking, offer up to joy.
BACKSTABBED my husband lives, that tybalt would have slain;
JEALOUSY and tybalt's dead, that would have slain my husband:
ONE-SIDE JEALOUS all this is comfort; wherefore weep I then?
ANNOYANCE some word there was, worser than tybalt's death,
ONE-SIDED DISLIKE that murder'd me: i would forget it fain;
FRIENDS TURNED ENEMIES but, o, it presses to my memory,
SCARED OF _____ like damned guilty deeds to sinners' minds:
GENERAL AVOIDANCE 'tybalt is dead, and romeo--banished;'
LOVED AND HATED that 'banished,' that one word 'banished’

ACT III
love relationships

CURRENT LOVER else would a maiden blush bepaint my cheek
PAST-FRIENDS for that which thou hast heard me speak to-night
PAST-BAD TERMS fain would i dwell on form, fain, fain deny
PAST-ATTRACTION what i have spoke: but farewell compliment!
ON AND OFF LOVES dost thou love me? i know thou wilt say 'ay,'
ONE NIGHT STAND and i will take thy word: yet if thou swear'st,
MAYBE IN THE FUTURE thou mayst prove false; at lovers' perjuries
SOME SEXUAL TENSION then say, jove laughs. o gentle romeo,
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITSif thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully:
PHYSICAL ATTRACTION or if thou think'st i am too quickly won,
ONE NIGHT STANDS i’ll frown and be perverse an say thee nay,
MUTUAL CRUSHES so thou wilt woo; but else, not for the world.
CRUSH ON ME OR ON YOU in truth, fair montague, i am too fond,
F*** BUDDIES and therefore thou mayst think my 'havior light:
FORBIDDEN LOVES but trust me, gentleman, i’ll prove more true
MADLY IN LOVE than those that have more cunning to be strange.

ACT IV
other relationships

(STEP) PARENT the clock struck nine when i did send the nurse;
(STEP/HALF) SIBLINGS in half an hour she promised to return.
LIVE TOGETHER perchance she cannot meet him: that's not so.
INSPIRATION o, she is lame! love's heralds should be thoughts,
BAND MATE which ten times faster glide than the sun's beams,
TEACHER/MENTOR driving back shadows over louring hills:
SCHOOLMATE therefore do nimble-pinion'd doves draw love,
PROTECTIVE and therefore hath the wind-swift Cupid wings.
FORBIDDEN ______ now is the sun upon the highmost hill
ADMIRATION of this day's journey, and from nine till twelve
STALKER/OBSESSIVE is three long hours, yet she is not come.
NEVER SPOKEN had she affections and warm youthful blood,
MIXED FEELINGS she would be as swift in motion as a ball;
SECRET ______ my words would bandy her to my sweet love,
PROTECTIVE OF YOU OR PROTECTIVE OF ME and his to me:
FUTURE FAMILY but old folks, many feign as they were dead;
OTHER? (SPECIFY) unwieldy, slow, heavy and pale as lead.

ACT V
the rules and author

well first off, this plot was written by the lovely casey of [CAUTION!] and if
she discovers that you have stolen it or taken off this credit, she will come
after you and force you to learn and write about ten thousand lines of iambic
pentameter. not fun, so don't even bother, kay? all the non-relationship bits
of this plot are monologues said by juliet in shakespeare's famed "romeo &
juliet", which is pretty good once you get past the language. colors were
blended in photoshop, and colors were randomly picked there as well. now
onto the rules. one, post in mine i post in yours. simple, basic rule. two, it
would be nice if you could write a short paragraph describing our relations
so that i have more to work with. oh and about relationships, if you could
give me at least two or three, that would be pretty awesome. and now for
the last bit: you put 'anything' under relationships, and you get "nothing"!

Hm, she could use just about anything. How do you think Lysander would feel about Elizabeth?

Ha, yeah. She wouldn't want to be with a third year romantically. She'd probably find him amusing...so just regular friends?
