Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

A Brave Soul Empty A Brave Soul

Jack sat at a bench in Diagon Alley, for once not pulling off some sort of prank. The laser pointer in her pocket seemed to be screaming for her to pay it its due attention, but it hurt too much to go back to that. That reckless attitude that got her in this mess.

She had invested her heart and hope into a murdering poltergeist who did everything she had stood against. And for so long, she obliviously thought it was working... And then she had found out he had killed the family of her best friend Chase? And then he had broken down, and she thought maybe he was feeling remorse...

Then she had run into him beating Chase to near death. And when she had stood between him and her, he had barely hesitated to send a killing curse her way. They had escaped and she had apologized to Chase and Andrew, only to find the old her had died, and she had grew into the shoes of the guy who had caused it all in the first place... And her friends were gone.

And then she had broken down, and Vito, of all people, had come to her rexcue and renewed her belief that maybe he was changing after all. It left her wondering... who to believe? She certainly did not trust her judgment anymore, but who to trust... Who to care for? It seemed she was stuck in the middle and she could not have it both ways. She had to decide.

So no wonder she was procrastinating that decision by sitting in Diagon Alley, struggling to resist her pranking urges. She had found herself wavering between her two new personalities it seemed. The old her, who was strong and a fighter, but always with a smile on her face. And this deadened girl who would not even kid herself into thinking she trusted anyone.

In essence, they were the same personality. Except, one had hope and happiness. The other, did not.

She did not realize it, but in her musings, she had been unintentionally staring at a first year, who at first had been scared, but now was getting irritated. She jerked to attention when she saw them sneer at her. Her face morphed into a scowl and she whipped out her wand. "What was that?"

He scurried off and she smiled to herself, feeling hollow inside. She had always been rude, but that was harsh... She pulled out her laser pointer, no longer able to resist and began pointing it at the people around her.

A Brave Soul Empty Re: A Brave Soul

Daniel apparated on the street of the Diagon Alley, his pale, icy skin could easily be pointed out by the ray of the sun. His skin still stayed the same pale, icy stony skin he onced had an hour ago. This was another thing about a vampire, they were constantly pale, they would never feeling of coldness or warmth forever. It was quite annoying really, people always stared at him as if he was some psychotic, freak everytime he walked down the street. He wore a black and grey, striped long-sleeved t-shirt with dark, blue jeans. The happy, cheerful expression on his face, he usually had, felt like it had been torn apart and replaced by a mask of sadness and angerness.

It had been a few days after he had fought with Chase, after finding out that she was dating a new man, named Andrew. He had not been himself lately, he felt guilty after she had told him what happen to her the other night when he snapped at her. Daniel knew what it felt like for someone to lose their parents, although it was quite different for him because his parent or was his parent had literally kicked him out of the house, the day after they found out he was a vampire. He didn't mean to hurt her, he wanted to know why after everything they have been through together, she'd had run away for two years and dated a new man. He thought everything was perfect, apparently he was wrong...

To his dismay, he felt his shoulder been pushed back by a young first year who seemed to be running away from something. Daniel smiled and shrugged as he saw this. "Proberly stoled something from the shop.." he thought to himself. Then, suddenly as he turned around and as countinued to walk, he felt a hot searing, red light burning in his eyes. "Get lost!" he scowled with discomfort as he held his arm out to block the light from his view and tried to find the source of the light but accientally tripping over a pile of basket in front of him, landing full on his chest. "Ow!" he yelped with pain as he hit the ground.

A Brave Soul Empty Re: A Brave Soul

Jack snickered to herself as some kid tried to wave the light out of his eyes; silly magical folk had no clue what the simple invention called a laser pointer did. She watched him struggle for a moment, before he toppled over a basket and landed on the ground. She burst into laughter, but stopped dead.

Was that something Vito would do? Cause someone to hurt themselves, and then laugh? Or had it been one of Jack's innocent pranks? Jack stared at him; had she not been in public she would have been pounding her head with her fists, but she really did not need to be carted off to St. Mungo's.

She had thought that accepting the similarities between herself and the cruel poltergeist would help her be able to return back to herself, back to normal. But it had not. Now she lived her life questioning Would Jack do this? Or would Vito? Or would Chase's friend do this? Or Andrew's? She was lost in a sea of doubt and fear.

And frankly, that pissed her off.

With a sigh, she stood and walked over to the pale boy, who she recognized as a fellow Gryffindor. Hell, she was pretty sure they were the same year. Darwin...Daniel...Dustin... Something like that. Jack really paid no mind to her peers. For too long she had thought herself better than them.

Just like Vito.

Stop, she growled to herself as she reached down to help the boy up. She smirked. "Sorry about that, you were my latest victim. Though you can't blame me all for it. You literally walked right into it." At least she still had her terrible sense of humor.
