What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Howling At Night. Empty Howling At Night.

Post by Victoria Greyback Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:40 am

Scared up hands were stuffed inside tight jean pockets, although, the person liked it this way. Long curly brown hair laid over thin shoulders, as a group of teenagers and adults alike spoke among each other. Chocolate brown eyes glanced up at one adult, tan skin with sand brown-blond hair with stunning emerald eyes. It appeared he was busy speaking with the head of the potions class. Thus, the chocolate brown eyes wandered to each face. Some of them were Slythers such as herself, some others were just normal adults that were attracted by herself, and the adult standing to her right.

The female nudged the tan skinned male, before she wandered away from the group. His emerald eyes locked on her figure, aware that he would now have to be careful when it comes to her wandering out into the night. But because his director starting talking to him again, the tan skinned male began to speak with the older professor again.

Her breath was visibly seen as she wandered around the grounds near the Mansion that was hosting the continuing New Year Bash. Everything in front of her was easily seen, due her advance senses due to her half-wolf bloodline. The female murmured stupid things to herself, about how long she'd need to create the next wolfsbane potion, or holding herself up in a part of the common rooms, or that place at the shrieking shack.

Naomi was leaning against an ancient tree on the grounds, a smile curled upon her face. She was watching a group of people, but they were all expendable to her. All except one. She had messed up with Ari. That had been her mistake, not getting him on her side before Fenrir picked him as his favorite, leaving Naomi to fend for herself. She would not make that mistake again.

Her pack were spread apart socially, making it easier for her to gather information. She knew her half sister's name. Victoria. She knew bits of her history. She knew that she was not weak and foolish, not a puppy dog like Ari. Naomi's pack was wandering around the party, waiting for her to call them back to her. They walked about like regular men, but they knew a pup may be joining the crew.

Naomi took another drag from her cigarette. She was not much older than the girl, only two years, but she seemed lifetimes older too. Hell, Naomi was engaged. She would be nineteen in Febuary. She had killed. She was ancient in comparison to her baby sister, but she would give Victoria a chance to catch up. What were sisters for?

The girl left the group and got nearer to Naomi. Her grey eyes twinkled as the small frame walked right past the tree; Naomi could hear the little mumbled comments the girl made. "Hey kid," Naomi said, pulling the cigarette from her lips. "Your dad know you wandered off?" She wanted to know a bit more. Hopefully, her sister was not too afraid to stick around and chat.

Her head cocked to the side, looking dully at the woman who had stopped her from taking a stroll. Her curls cover half of her face, with brown eyes just staring basically. She looked bored, dull, unamused by this stupid party that was celebrating the new year. Hell, it's a year, just every other damn year. Brown eyes blinked a bit, soft but long huffs of air were escaping her mouth, looking like smoke from the lips. "To hell with my father." Normally it would be disrespectful to speak about a father like that, but she was special.

Her wool jacket was enough to keep her warm, the tie was loosely around her waist and so were the straps that kept them tied together. Her eyes just stared at the woman with a bored set face, just watching her own actions, and also the smoke that was streaming off of the cigarette. This woman was strange, just asking a random question all the way out, away from normal eyes. A single brown brow was raised, suddenly curious about why the hell she was being questioned.

Naomi's mouth twitched upwards. She knew Victoria knew of her real father, and she hoped she was thinking of Fenrir when she said it. Yes, Greyback children were best to bear the family name, but a certain level of hatred for their father meant they meant business. Naomi wanted to show dear old dad that she did not need him, that she could be just as big and bad, if not a bigger and badder, killer than he could be. She wanted to outshine her dad.

Naomi chuckled a husky chuckle before sighing. "Good attitude," she said approvingly, nodding at the girl. Victoria opened herself up a bit more and gave Naomi a questioning, almost challenging look. Naomi's left side of her mouth twisted into a half smile, her hooded eyes twinkling. She pointed at her cigarette, holding it out a bit. "Want one?"

A disgusted look over came the Greyback child, a sneer look though was also across her face instead. A sour no escaped her lips, as she would rather drink seven wolfsbane potions instead of taking a smoke. Once or twice she has used one while traveling with the Greyback pack, as she couldn't deal with the stress of barely eating and the fact that a muggle had pissed her off while at a bar one night.

"What attitude? I'm always like this." Her voice had a snappy tone to it, trying to keep down a snarl. Currently, she was trying not to blow her top off at the moment, since her adult friend would come running so she wouldn't help up taring off another person's head tonight. It was bad enough he was eerie when she was in potions class, but she didn't need another father hanging around her like she was some type of puppy.

Naomi grinned at the noise her sister made. "Don't like cigarettes? Pity. It usually runs in the family." She shook her head. "'Sides, people say it will kill you- probably why you don't like it, right? When you get older, you welcome the chance to face death. It's... cute." She smirked deeper, glancing off to look at the party lights with her usual bored expression.

At the girl's words, Naomi tossed her head back and let out a little barking laugh. "Yep, yep, yep. That sounds about right too. Another family heirloom, if you will." She shook her head. It really was uncanny. Naomi and her brother were both smokers, and yes, they both had an 'up yours' attitude. It would be fun to see who would win their sister's loyalties.

"They become my friends if I face Daddy again, probably." Yeah, she had a funny feeling that once Fenrir and her face off, or she gets sight of him, her stress level along with anger levels are going to sky rocket. The brown haired female was quickly able to catch on, Usually runs in the Family. Inside, she was curious, this was another Greyback? She should've known, her adult friend at one point said there could've been another Greyback, or a few at lest, that entered Hogwarts at one point in their life.

"Guessing we get our nice personalities because of him? Or is it just a natural gene?" She raised a single brow, crossing her arms as well. Her eyes glanced back towards where she had been a while ago, noticing that the group had moved on, probably going inside. She was surprised, normally her mentor would make sure his charge, her, would not be outside alone. "Victoria, and I know you don't need to hear our lovely surname."

Naomi grinned, appreciating the spunk in her little sister. Of course, in her pack, they all had to tone down their attitudes a bit. Having a handful of cranky werewolves all voicing their opinions would have been disastrous- they would never get anything done. But it was a trait easily learned, it only required some control and intelligence, and every Greyback had that.

Victoria had caught on. Yes, she was smart, yes she was not oblivious. At her question Naomi shrugged, saying "Maybe a bit of both. There has to be a gene somewhere, but I think it's also a special gift only Fenrir could pass out among his puppies." She grinned as Victoria introduced herself. Naomi flicked her cigarette onto the ground and stepped out, grinding the stick into the ground with her toe until it was nothing but ash. "I know," she said, a knowing look on her face. "I'm Naomi, your half sister."

Victoria rolled her brown eyes. "Figures that siblings keep Tabs on each other." This was correct, for many siblings for if they shared either a Father, or Mother at one point in their life would keep tabs on the other sibling. Unlike Naomi, Victoria really didn't give a rats ass about finding her other siblings. All she knew is that they kept out of her way, and that's how Victoria likes it to be. The brown haired female drew in a breath of ice cold air, smelling the rest of the smoke, and also other scents. Curious about the reason why she hadn't "Smelled" them before. IT appears her lovely sister, does not come alone to such places.

Passed onto his Pups, yeah, Victoria knew it first hand. She remembered just standing around at one point, and hearing her father go off on a pack member that hadn't been listening to him correctly. Because, when she was young, Victoria always saw this and believed it was the sole way to live and act towards other people. "It's worse when your raised around him."

Naomi smirked at the girl's words. It was obvious Victoria did not really appreciate being followed or known about, but what could she expect. Naomi had a network of people willing to do whatever she wished, and Victoria was at Hogwarts, which made her out in the open, really. Sure she was "protected" but it was easy to find out about her.

To respond to her displeasure, Naomi said with a touch of irony, "Well, if we don't watch out for each other, no one would." The irony was that the siblings would have to win their protection and care, they were only assets to each other until they became more. If they were not assets, they were threats... Or pain in the... assets.

Victoria commented about being raised with him. With a hint of resentment, none that Victoria would pick up on, Naomi said, "Is it?" No, she was left with her whore mother and to figure things out for herself. Felix had not kidnapped her, he had rescued her. "Well. Sis. The great thing is getting out from under his paws and seeing the world in clearer view. Did he turn you, then?"
