Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ginevra had recently arrived back in town and confronting people she had been avoiding for the last while happened to be near the top of her list. Getting a job had been the first and that was checked off the list. Typically, it would have taken the blonde longer to get to what she slightly dreaded doing but seeing Darren changed that. Him questioning "have you seen anyone from Hogwarts?" made her curious at what they had done with their lives since the last time they came across one another. the list of who she had to see was short and sweet. Ginevra had never been a fan of big groups of people, not because she was anti-social but because she was quite picky at the type of people she was around. some considered her conceited for brushing off some people who could be possible friends where she saw it as their luck. really, the girl wasn't too nice to herself. although she was a great friend when it came down to it, she tended to be quite emotional and reckless so it wasn't the best option. with her hair tied to the side, Ginevra walked with her head down, keeping a low profile. there was no need to attract attention and the full moon was in a few nights. this meant the hairs on her arms were raised, knowing what was coming and feeling the night go by like they were mere minutes compared to hours.

pulling the door open, Ginevra entered The Leaky Cauldron. it had been awhile since she had last been here but it was still comforting to smell the wood from the bar top and the layer of dust always to be spotted on the corners where no one cared to clean well enough. taking a seat in the bar area, she would visit the dining area later on. perhaps she even stay in one of the rooms upstairs to get back into the comfort of being around home. allowing herself to think about pretty much everything except how she felt when it came to seeing one of her friends again, the list of things she could go on about were endless. ordering a fire whiskey to chill her nerves, Ginevra sighed and rubbed her fingers through each other. would Jess be made at her for leaving without a word? Darren had been, but that was to be expected. he knew what she had become and really, not only had his best friend turned into a werewolf when he was raised to hate half-breeds but she was the one person he really trusted, and therefore it was a tug on the heart; at least that was what she told herself. the first part she was sure of. the second, well, she could never tell what exactly got to him emotion wise. he was complicated and even if there were times where she knew exactly what he was thinking, when it involved her it was the exact opposite. before ditching her life here, Ginevra had started to drift away from her friends so for all she knew there wasn't much anger towards her because there also wasn't much care. the list of possibilities was another thing that went way too long. taking a long sip on her drink, the blonde waited and, yet again, sighed loudly.
