What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Second Quidditch Practice Empty Second Quidditch Practice

David walked down the grounds to the Quidditch stadium. It was a cold day, with a lot of wind, but they only got the pitch booked today, so what could you do. They had a match against the puffers soon, and they needed to get some practice before that.

They had definately done well the first match, however, Selwyn, who had done brilliantly the first match had left the team. This would be a blow, however, David and William had replaced Jennifer and Selwyn, and both were good chasers as well. David was certain the puffers had no chance.

Climbing onto his fathers nimbus, he took a couple practice laps, waiting for the others.

Will trudged down to the pitch, looking up at the sun in the sky and wondering to himself why the ground was so muddy. He kept walking and soon found himself at the pitch itself, with firm, fry ground underneath him. He looked up and waved to David, shouting a greeting out which echoed throughout the stadium. He grinned and climbed onto his Nimbus 2002, which had mysteriously turned up next to him in bed one morning, and flew into the air, joining david in his laps around the pitch but in the opposite direction

David was flying around calmly, it was a chilly day, but it felt nice to fly around. He was facing the other way, but he could tell his brother had entered the stadium.. It was an odd connection between the two. "Where is everyone else?" he asked, flying closer to his brother.

((Sorry didn't notice someone started a topic!))

Ami came running down to the pitch with her broom in hand, she was breathless, "Sorry I'm late guys! Class ran a little over!" she looked around with a raised brow, and sighed, Selwyn and Jennifer had quit the team and Ne'Os, well Ne'Os had dropped out of school and they hadn't replaced him just yet. She bit her bottom lip nervously as she mounted the broom and started to fly around the hoops. She knew she would do well with out another beater, but they needed a full team to compete against the puffs. "I guess we wait a few more minutes until the others come."

Scorpius made his way to the quidditch stadium, his new broom clutched in hand. It was chilly, but otherwise good day to practice quidditch, there was little win and no snow. This was their first quidditch practice for a while now, and Selwyn, Ne'os and Jennifer had left the team. That was a blow, expecially as Selwyn and ne'os had done so well last match. "Hey Aminia," he said to her, before turning to the other two. "Who are those guys?"

Aminia stopped flying circles around the hoops, "Hey Scorpius" she looked at the two Slytherin's, "They're our new Chasers." She hadn't noticed that it was chilly out with a slight wind until she sat on her broom. She sighed again, "We're waiting on Albus and Hafiz, then we can get started, if they aren't here in the next five minutes we will start the drills with out them." Ami couldn't help but to think about who she was going to find to be the other beater.

Scorpius went on his firebolt and flew towards Aminia who was floating near the goal posts. "Thats great.. I just got used to the old ones.." he said sarcastically. "Oh well, I hope they are good. I was watching Hufflepuff play at the match and they were doing quite well," he informed her.

Ami had skipped the game, she wasn't in the mood to watch the puffs play, "They are pretty good, and I know what you mean. I'm still getting use to having new players." she smiled, "I'm just hoping that we can get a full team before the match, We're short a beater."

Albus walked out of the castle and towards the quidditch pitch, it was a chilly day, not very windy, but Albus would of preferred to stay inside. Still, the captain had said they would practice today, so he couldn't say anything. "Hey Aminia," he said, upon his arrival, watching the two new players. Twins.

Ami turned her head at the sound of her name, "Hey Albus!" She pressed her lips together as she landed, she walked over to the chest and took out the Quaffle and mounted her broom again and pushed off. "Everyone but Hafiz is here, so we can get started and hope he shows up. We're going to start off pretty easy, we're just going to toss the Quaffle around." She shrugged and waited until everyone was in the air.
