Having a good time

"Blah, I want a strawberry Ice-cream."

A manly, rough voice, echoed through the upper floors of The Leaky Cauldron, a moan could be heard shortly after that, while slowly the curtains of one of the upper-rooms opened, revealing a tall man, slender, still in his boxers, looking straight out of the window, letting out a small laugh when an old muggle women looked, nodding to him after, in a disapproval way. He laughed even more, closing the curtains and going for his wardrobe. He got into his dark skinny jeans, his All-Stars sneekers, white t-shirt, and went on to the first floor, yawning.

He was still quite very sleepy, but, the commotion inside The Leaky Cauldron was enough to wake him up. A couple of men were playing some cards on a table on the corner, while drinking something that Chris quickly recognized to be Firewhiskey, and their wizard robes didn't help them go hidden through the muggles that were outside on the street. Some more mans were arguing really loudly about dragons that they had seen in Romania and some countries close to that one. They made really big gestures with their arms, imitating fire with their wands sometimes, at which Chris looked, with a disapproval face, resembling to the face that the old lady had done.

He greeted the new bartender and owner, Oded, and took a quick look around the bar, waiting to see something more interesting. Without even taking a full look on the bar, he quickly went to the Diagon Alley entrance, flickering his wand at the brick wall that separated Diagon-Alley from London. He stepped inside, and thought of where he would go to take a strawberry ice-cream. He walked down the first road, turning to the right and finding himself in front of the Cafe Twin Montez. He shrugged his shoulders, going in shortly after. He sat, yawning a little bit, waiting for someone to come.

(I'm not really seeing how they would bring the werewolf thing into conversation . You have any ideas?)

[OOC: Well, werewolves can sense other werewolves, so that could be a way of them finding out that they are both wolves.]

The cafe had been quite busy the entire day since it was opened early in the morning as she was so accustomed to doing. Even being a werewolf, her vampire habits didn't leave her much. Besides with her half vampire siblings, it was hard to sleep in anyways, they were up and about all during the night and during most of the morning, so by at least five in the morning Alexis was out of bed. Still it helped her keep the cafe open longer and earlier so it paid to have siblings that were up so early.

The nineteen year old girl had now had the Cafe Twin Montez as her own for a few months and it was doing pretty well, considering she had no experience in running a cafe at all. She was glad that her best friend Amanda was there to help her run the shop and she was even more glad that she just wouldn't have to be there all alone all day. Alexis heard the bell jingle as the door opened and her dull brown-gray eyes looked up from her desk. She watched a guy, probably a year or something older than her, enter the cafe and sit down.

Amanda was busy with someone else and she knew she had to take care of this guy. Sighing, the werewolf girl got up from the desk and walked out of her office. She grabbed a menu from the stack near the kitchen and she walked over to him. As she approached the guy, a chill ran down her spine and her eyes immediately narrowed, there was something off about him. He wasn't human, she could tell, he was like her. A werewolf, and she should know since she is around five or six more almost everyday in Naomi's pack. She cleared her throat as she reached him, and she set the menu down in front of him. "Welcome to Cafe Montez. I'm Alexis, may I take your order?" she asked him, as nicely as she could in a cold voice.

'Why am I feeling so cold out of nowhere?'

A cold chill ran down Chris's spine, and he trembled a little bit, shaking the cold feeling off, though it continued to run through his mind, making him think about it. He could remember only some moments when he felt like that, but the one that he could quickly associate was when he could feel himself some chills when he was spending time with his father. It was never that much, because he didn't like him and always prefered to be away from him and his mother, spending some good time with Corey, his brother, but he probably though it was some kind of werewolf sense. He turned his head around to the door, trying to see if someone had come in through the door, but he hadn't heard neither the bell's ring or someone come in, which probably meant he had ran into a werewolf aldready inside the shop.

As a young girl approached him, eyes narrowed towards him, his eyes narrowed as well, questioning himself why the cold look onto Chris. He was just there to have a good strawberry ice-cream, something he hadn't done in a big while. The girl looked 1 or 2 years younger then him, something around that, dark skin tone and hair, beautiful eyes. He looked up and heard her cold voice talking to him quickly paying attention to listen. Maybe she was the one who was causing his supposed werewolf senses to go all crazy. She gave him the menu and waited for him to take his order, patiently. She was surely a werewolf.

"Werew-A strawberry ice-cream!"

He said, quickly trying to change the subject.

As he told her what he wanted, Alexis almost immediately caught onto the first word he was going to say. She tensed a bit but quickly felt herself relax when he said he wanted ice cream. She wrote down what he wanted on a small notepad and she looked back to him. "Anything else?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow behind her bangs.

She couldn't shake the cold chill that ran down her spine as she spoke to him. He was definitely a werewolf like her, but she knew he wasn't a part of Naomi's pack. She'd never seen him any time the pack met, so it was easy to assume that he wasn't. However, she didn't trust this guy, he didn't seem anything like any of the members of Naomi's pack. They were all pretty much cold hearted and they weren't afraid to kill, which was something that he didn't seem capable of.

The puppy in her head, barked at him. She didn't trust him either, and that was because her loyalty was with Naomi, and she thought he would try to get something about her leader from her. Alexis understood how the puppy felt and she actually felt the same way. Naomi wasn't the kindest girl around, and she probably did things that would cause her to be followed, not to mention her relationship with Felix Barker, and Alexis couldn't shake the feeling of discomfort she for from being near this guy. She sighed softly and ran a hand through her hair gently.

"Nah, I'll just have a strawberry Ice-cream. I've been dying to have the time to come and have one of these you know. Ministry Business, been getting on my nerves, all those reports. Blah, why don't all werewolfs and vampires just register themselfs to the Ministry? Sure as hell would'a spare me the trouble of having to find them .. Oh, sorry, shouldn't be bothering you. Yeah the strawberry ice-cream will do just fine."

He could feel the cold glare from the girl going down on him, but he didn't react to it, prefering to stay put, and waiting for maybe her to approach him, or eventually he'd do it. Chris wasn't one to be understimated, and he'd eventually go straight to business, but he always waited for the perfect moment. The cold chill down the spine he had felt earlier was still there, perhaps even stronger now that the girl was talking to him, and giving him such cold eyes. The little puppy on her head barked at Chris, probably sensing him beeing a werewolf and reacting to it, but the owner of the dog probably aldready knew he was a werewolf, that is if she was one as well.

The Ministry? Alexis tenses up again immediately after he mentioned the Ministry. She knew there was something she couldn't trust about him. He worked for the Ministry, probably as an Auror or something. That's why she felt she had to be so cautious around him, the Ministry might be looking for Felix right now still, and if they found out she had anything to do with his fianceé, it could spell trouble for not only herself, but for Felix and the pack. She could not allow that to happen.

When he said that was all he wanted, she closed the notepad quickly and turnes around, her cold expression never leaving her face. "I'll be right back with your order." she said and walked off. She tapped Amanda on the shoulder as she walked past her friend, who was now just sitting down doing nothing, and Amanda followed her into the kitchen. She told her about the guy and how she was sure he was a werewolf like she was, and that he worked for the Ministry. Amanda glanced over at him slightly, and she shook her head. They discussed something quietly and then Alexis emerged from the kitchen with his ice cream in hand. She set it down in front of him and said, "Here you go. Enjoy." she told him with a cold voice.

The Ministry was not a bad place, unlike what everybody judged. In fact, it was a very good place, and the only exceptions recently, where when Voldemort, Fudge, Scrimgeour and Grindelwald rulled over it, because, in fact, Chris couldn't even remember any more dark times the Ministry had suffered, and he knew most of them. He could sense she had tensed a little bit when he notted that he worked for the Ministry but he ignored. He waited for her to go along to get his order, specially when she shrugged her elbow on the other girl next to another table, both going into the kitchen.

Were they hiding something? Or maybe even planning something against Chris?

He remained silent, turning his head around to the right and left, looking for strange things that could be happening around him, though he found none, though he aldready knew about that, if they were in fact planning something, they wouldn't be showing it around for plain sight. He saw her come with his strawberry ice-cream, a cool sensation going down his throat, happy for the fact that he'd be able to saciate his desire for some time now.

"Thanks. I'll make sure, between the Ministry and the night walks I take with the full moon ... But I'm pretty sure you aldready know , right?"

He said, laughing slightly.

From the kitchen Amanda kept a close watch on the guy as Alexis stood there, listing to what he was saying. Being human, Amanda got a weird feeling about being near werewolves, she didn't usually trust them. But Alexis had been her friend basically since they were born, so she was the exception for Amanda. The blonde ducked down under the counter for a moment to get something she had been keeping there, that Alexis knew nothing about, and then she emerged again, holding a black box. It had nothing to do with this situation, but the girl had remembered that she needed it for something, and it was a good excuse to go back into Alexis' office and leave her out there alone with this guy.

Alexis felt her breath catch in her throat as he basically revealed that he knew she was a werewolf. Of course it shouldn't have surprised her. If she could sense him, then he sure as hell could sense her. But she couldn't help her chest beginning to tighten as he mentioned the full moon. Alexis had always been cautious as to who knew about her being what she was. Finally her breath was forced out of her throat and she exhaled softly. The brunette nodded slowly in agreement to what he had said previously, and the corners of her mouth turned upward slightly to show a ghost of a smile on her face.

"What do you do for the Ministry?" she asked him a bit suddenly. "So you work in the Department of the Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures, or in the Department of Law Enforcement, as like an Auror or something?" she said. She sighed as she remembered when she worked in the Department of Magical Creatures as a Being Specialist. She probably should have stayed there, but she'd always wanted to own a shop in Diagon Alley, so she left for that reason. But it wasn't so bad, working there was actually quite fun especially for her as a Being Specialist.

He didn't feel exactly good and comfortable on that coffee, specially beeing observed like he was. A blonde women stood in the other side of the counter, working on the bar but , keeping close-tabs on Chris, which just made him feel nervous about himself. Soon enough everybody'd be looking at him with probably one of the owners staring straight at him like that. He saw her go down to look for something in the counter and then emerge with a black box, which he could see the look of surprise in Alexis's face and yet, the blonde women just went inside the office, leaving her in there with the werewolf.

"I work as an Auror. But I've only been doing field work for the past months, since I had to finish Auror Academy to become one, and then I had some desk work but, I'm working on the field now. I think I saw you there aldready .. Working here as a part-timer? I'm pretty sure I've seen you there .. Maybe something related to werewolfs?"

Amanda always chose to leave at the worst times. She had always been like that, in fact if she hadn't left Alexis alone the night she was attacked, she might not even be a werewolf now. She could still be half vampire, and her younger sister, Damitrius, wouldn't hate her right now. Still, Alexis didn't hold it against the blonde, it wasn't her fault. She had just been tired and Alexis had been to rash and that's what got her into that mess in the first place. That and she had thought the wolf who turned her was her friend. She didn't blame anyone but herself though, she knew that Kyle was out on the grounds, and she knew that it was a full noon, but she had went outside anyways. Maybe that was why Damitrius always called her stupid now, and why she hated her. Because, like it or not, she had been stupid.

"Ah, I thought so." she said, her smile dropping and a chill running down her spine. She really had to be careful now. "Oh no. I don't work here as a part time. I own this place, I did work at the Ministry for a while though. I worked there as a Being Specialist for the Department of Magical Creatures." she told him. "But working at the Ministry wasn't really for me I suppose, because I left and came here to Diagon Alley." she shrugged and ran a ran though her hair gently.
