Free Period

Jackson watched as William got the ice pack and placed upon his injured hand. It was cool and causing a tingling sensation that such a freezing pack did when placed upon an injury. They never seemed to ease straight away but for some reason it felt... warmer. No. That was William's hands, gosh they were so warm.

Jackson's blue eyes peered into Williams, he had to move away, look away, what if William figured out about Jackson's confused feelings? Before Jackson could even process a way to walk away without it coming off cold he suddenly found himself kissing William. Wait. Had he started the kiss?

'I. I'm sorry, I don't know what just - I. I think I better go.' Jackson said, her eyes scanning everywhere in a scatter logical manner. He already felt his face blushing the brightest of reds and inside his mind it was as if someone had pushed an emergency alarm. PANIC! PANIC! PANIC! Was this going to become Hogwarts gossip? Would all his friends exile him? Or would the Ministry persecute him for not having the 'correct' frame of mind to follow their new marriage law?

"Na! hauld yer horses, a'm needin' tae explain."You could see the anger in William but it was notice le that he was mad at himself.William knew how awkward it would be having to share a room with Jackson after this.He had to say the truth since it was his last chance."A'm Bi 'n' ah lik' ye 'n' a'm waantin' us tae be mair than mukkers(friends) bit tis ah kent that awreedy ye dinnae( but its obvious you don't)"He knew he had already lost Jackson.He couldn't imagine how he felt he surely was disgusted.Jack had been his friend since he was in first year but know he had messed everything up.He actually had a real problem.What if Jackson told their other friends and they also thought he was a freak?"A'm sorry ye shuid gang sin ah jalouse yer freaked oot."He stayed quiet waiting for something to happen.

Jackson continued to scan the area with his wide eyes trying to make some sense of what happened in his head. Although it was difficult with William talking, in what appeared to be an angry voice. How could something like this happen, right at the start of term? Yesterday Jackson had been so excited to start Hogwarts and now that feeling had evaporated from him.

'I'm bi'. Wait what? William was bisexual? He had never said, unless. Had Jackson ever fell for William or had William always sent him signals that had through the Hufflepuff in a state of confusion. Did Jackson actually like William at all? He did desire a wife and children, perhaps he wasn't sexual confused after all, maybe it was just William who had confused him and he'd never realised.

'I want to be more than mates'. Hold on. Now this really was getting deep, was William asking him, Jackson the boy uncomfortable with his image, to be his boyfriend? It seemed bizzare to get a sudden rush of attention from someone in more than a friendly manner. Every time Jackson looked into the mirror the person staring back at him was skinny, his nose wasn't symmetrical, his lips were too thin to make him a good kisser and his eyes were a bit wide. To Jackson, he was a freak. This didn't make sense.

'Obviously you don't want that.' Did Jackson want William to be his boyfriend? Who knows, Jackson certainly didn't know. Right now, here and now, this situation wasn't helping in the slightest. He was usually the one to give advice but right now he was the person in need. Who would he turn to? He had kept his confusion a secret for so long now Jackson was confused about being confused. Was he sexual confused or was he not? Or was he and this was just a joke? William had found out and was fooling him, taking the mick out of him.

'I'm sorry.' Jackson said as he looked back into the hazel of eyes of William Crosby. Those two words were all that could come from Jackson's mouth. How he would sleep in the dorm that night, how he would eat at the Hufflepuff table, how we would sit even the Hufflepuff Common Room Jackson didn't know. Nor did he know if William would tell anybody. Yesterdays charms class had been so relaxed, the two had enjoyed the lesson and each others company and now they were in the dungeons... confused.

Staring blankly ahead Jackson handed William the ice pack and walked away, past the punching pad and out of the room. The potions class in the chamber next door was still in progress. Had any of them heard what had happened between William and himself? Most likely not over the fires beneath their cauldrons. Despite that Jackson was still in a state of panic, worry and confusion.

Jackson arrived in the Entrance Hall not knowing where to go. Would William follow him? Right now he needed someone, preferrably Grace. Grace wouldn't judge him. He could tell Nathan but that could be even more awkward seeing as he shared a dormitory with Nathan.

Wiping the tears that had began to fill along his waterline the Hufflepuff made his way up the marble staircase to find Grace. He wasn't sure what class she was in, whether she even was in a class, but he was going to find her come what may then... Then he'd let the situation unfolded.

Williams's world was officially destroyed.He, who was called hope boy among his muggle friends, had lost hope.He felt like if dementors were sucking away his happiness he knew what he had to do.He would ask the potions professor if he could stay there in the dungeons.He knew he would have to tell him everything.He probably think he was a freak too and he would tell him to stick to girls but it was worth a shot.Right know he needed a shoulder to lean on but he didn't have one since Jackson surely wouldn't b there for him.

He told his potions professor what had happened.Surprisingly his professor completely understood.He agreed to let him stay where he usually boxed and he would ask the elves to bring his things to the dungeon.He also gave the elves an order; to bring a plate of food three times a day where he was staying.William just had one problem ,classes, he planned with Professor Alden to take potions at night instead of having to take it with Jackson, but there still was charms.What could he do? He surely didn't want anyone to know, except his sponsor(professor Alden)Right now his sponsor was the only one who he trusted.
